Jimmy Van is an entrepreneur, author and the founder of Fightful. On Wild Peril, he brings a storyteller’s perspective to extraordinary animal encounters—exploring the backstory, the people involved and what happened next.
His book, The Storytelling Salesman: Enriching Tales for Better Business, reflects his interest in how stories connect with people. Wild Peril brings that same curiosity to the moments when human lives and the natural world collide.
Jimmy also founded Grappling with Grief, a nonprofit inspired by his own family’s experiences with loss. Through honest, personal stories, the organization helps people feel less alone in their grief and find ways to channel it into something positive.
